Springthorpe

There’s nothing like the feeling of being one with nature and for a couple in Victoria, the process of building their dream home had to follow this same philosophy. Surrounded by native bushland, the property’s prime location in a newly developed estate became the inspiration for the home’s interesting dimension and modern architectural design.

Bellemore Homes was assigned the task of transforming the couple’s vision into reality. The house was built over four levels to accommodate the initial four- to five-metre fall, sloping downwards on the property, with extensive balconies and decks incorporated into the design to off er uninterrupted views of the natural surrounds. As it was, with the large downhill slope, the small area of land to build on and the large size of the house, the designers were required to work with the topography rather than against it
